Press Release: Havahart Wireless Facebook Contest Raises Awareness and Funds for PA K9 Assistance Foundation

LITITZ, Pa.Jan. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Havahart® Wireless, the market leader in wireless electronic devices for dog containment, has teamed up with the PA K9 Assistance Foundation to raise money for the organization through the "Love at First Lick!" Facebook contest.
Havahart Wireless launched the charity contest with the goal of donating $1,000 after reaching 45,000 fans on its Facebook page. The mission of the PA K9 Assistance Foundation is to provide underfunded K9 teams with needed equipment and training to aid and protect them in the performance of their jobs, which are vital to keeping the citizens and police officers of our community safe.
"This contest offers a way to give back and raise awareness of an organization that works with dogs to help those that serve and protect our community," said Rachael Fick, category development associate for Havahart Wireless. "No K9 program has all the funding it could really use and we look forward to raising awareness about this incredible organization. We will update the progress of reaching our goal throughout the contest and new Facebook fans will become part of our community."
Havahart Wireless chose the PA K9 Assistance Foundation because of its passion for dogs and commitment to dog training, which enables law enforcement to more fully protect communities in Pennsylvania.
